Pack 377
Pack 377 is an active, outdoor Cub Scout Pack. We take advantage of the nearby mountains, camping several times a year with trips to Camp Patiya, Camp Tahosa, Rocky Mountain National Park and other great camping areas. With families mostly from the Gunbarrel area of Boulder, CO, our Scouts primarily attend Heatherwood Elementary, Boulder Country Day and other schools around Boulder.
Cub Scouting Structure
A Cub Scout Pack is made up of boys in the 1st through 5th grades. The Pack meets once a month, generally on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. During these meetings the boys put on a program demonstrating the skills and knowledge they have learned during their pack meetings and “Go See It” tours. Pack activities include the annual Pinewood Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, Lights of December Parade and much more.
The boys are grouped by grade into dens of 5 to 10 boys. Most of Cub Scouting fun and action occurs within the den. Dens are coordinated by a Den Leader and meet 2 or 3 times a month for games, to work on achievements and visit interesting areas around town.
• 1st graders are in Tigers
• 2nd graders are in Wolves
• 3rd graders are in Bears
• 4th-and 5th graders are in separate Webelos dens or patrols.
Cub Scouting is a family activity and both mothers and fathers pitch in to help us run the pack. Siblings and parents are always included and welcome at all of our events.
